Good stuff as ever Graeme, TA has been my EastEnders for just over a decade and I've had a question that has been lingering for most of that time, so I'll ask. For years We've heard, sometimes angrily other times very funnily but most always with the blame for things going wrong , The name of Smith. So who is Smith Graeme ?, and what did this idiomatic character do to you , that causes you to consistently curse his name decades later ?. I always enjoy him popping up in the narrative and I absolutely love how those maddening mishaps and frustrating kerfuffle's are plain and simply his responsibility. 🤣I am however Graeme always left wondering who this criminally negligent 😜longstanding , character of the channel really is?. Be lucky Graeme and may the freshwater God's bless you with a whopper.

A cheap rod like this is great. Take it anywhere and fish, don't worry, take it easy and it's no big deal if it breaks. So much more room for happiness than with tok much gear. I know you could use this for piers, but do you think Pollock fishing from the shore or like light beach casting/lrf could take place? Cheers

these days I am way more of a sea angling, but I have to say Mr. G something about float fishing on an old pond brings me back to when I was a boy and is just so relaxing what a classic setting! Awesome session sir

Thats a lovely place, and those fish, well they, have colour, power and in perfect condition, very enjoyable video mate, have a great weekend, was going on the Thames today, mind said yes, body said no, so tomorrow we are off, lets try and catch a barble lol.

Full of snags, silted and slow moving (no oxygen) Bankside plants overgrown on phosphate run off… dogs, human swimmers (why would you go wild swimming..) good to see the landowners and EA actively applying the cash from licences to worthy river restoration projects… nah it’s a no from me. Anyhow Liebour and the Lib Dem’s will ban angling very soon.

Havent watched film yet but thought id say i did buy a massive bag of baileys and massive bag of bran and honestky such a good purchase no wonder you always catch best ground bait ive used on river makes such a good cloud. Had a 24" tench (middle of afternoon as always) and biggest bream ive ever caught.

If you come to somerset often I know of a farmer that has 3 ponds. All have carp in but 1 has nice doubles an go up to 26lb. Old carp to. Not these big gut jobs.

19 years unfished, carp average 3 to 5, worn in swims with hardly weathered peg markers... ? Come on chap... have a word
